*2012 On a like-for-like basis: after deduction of the turnover of Insoft Software GmbH (€ 1.23 M) acquired on 30/06/2011 and Empeiria (€ 1.41 M) consolidated from 01/01/2012
Infotel registered an excellent first quarter with a turnover of € 36.7 M, an increase of 22.3% on the first quarter of 2011. Excluding the contribution of Insoft Software GmbH (Software division) and Empeiria (Services division) acquired in 2011 and incorporated respectively on 30 June 2011 and 1 January 2012, the activity displayed an increase of 19.5%.
Expansion of the service desks
The Services division (93.8% of turnover) grew 23.9% to € 34.4 M. The first quarter saw the expansion of service desks in all sectors (Insurance, Pensions, Banking, Aeronautics, etc.) except the Automobile market.
The contracts signed in the second half of 2011 brought fruit and enabled Infotel to display dynamic growth while maintaining the inter-contract rate at its lowest. During the period, Infotel hired around fifty new employees, thus bringing the Group’s workforce to more than 1,000 people.
The incorporation of Empeiria, seeking to strengthen Infotel’s geographical network in the north, continues to make progress. This acquisition, which is in line with the Group’s proximity strategy, has also opened new opportunities for development abroad, more specifically in Belgium.
The Software division (6.2% of turnover) grew 2.1% to € 2.3 M. The activity recorded a very good first quarter in terms of royalties resulting from IBM sales. In France, sales activity was welcomed in the market, however the "wait-and-see" attitude and relatively long decision-making processes push purchasing previsions in the second half of the year.
The acquisition of Insoft Software GmbH, consolidated from 1 July 2011, has positively contributed to turnover and also makes progress. The German company enabled Infotel to speed up the distribution of its new software through direct sales.
Forecast 2012: Confirmation of annual targets
Given the good first quarter, Infotel confirms its target turnover of €135 M, associated with new growth in results.
The payment of a dividend of € 2.25 per share for 2011 will be submitted to vote at the Shareholders’ Meeting on 23 May 2012.
