DEEPEO: Bringing user-friendly data compliance to Virgin Money
As a large Tier One bank, our client Virgin Money faced numerous challenges when it came to adhering to GDPR compliance. Despite providing reliable financial services for both personal banking and business solutions for over 20 years, their migration to being a ‘digital first’ bank meant adhering to strict data regulations for both existing and new clients. The chances of their success lay in a seamless transfer of legacy data to a new, rule-based reporting platform – ensuring any data for previous customers was stored or disposed of legally and safely.
THE RESULTS:
Using deep learning software and an assigned team of experts, introducing Deepeo’s data management tool was nothing short of transformative. Our team delivered an answer to automation and scalability of complicated GDPR requirements, as well as making sure our client was benefitting from a streamlined, continuous way of regularly updating and cleansing data.
ARCSYS: Information preservation and long-term record archiving
Arcsys makes it possible to conceive a unified warehouse of all the files of the company which structures rules of management, legal value, capacity of classification and access rights.
Centralise all digital preservation policies on a unified software platform. Arcsys serves a variety of enterprise needs, including corporate heritage, technical and scientific data and local and global compliance.
- Data Formats: Data of any format can be archived – digital documents or electronic files, whatever the size or structure, including multiple application output, encrypted data, composite documents.
- Records Management Policies: Data ingestion can have customized records management policies such as retention period, quality checks, classification, availability, storage media and locations, indexing and final disposal. Administrators categorize such policies according to company’s needs and assign them to each “Collection”.
- User Rights Management: Access to Arcsys can be granted for individual users or groups of users. Administrator roles are defined according to access rights and requirements and do not necessarily include access to archives.
- Optimized Archive Cost: Arcsys can drastically reduce infrastructure costs, enabling our customers to find the most competitive archive cost on the market. With a unique and flexible pricing offer, Arcsys enables customers to transition year on year as archiving needs evolve.
Infotel’s Approach to Application Transformation:
An overview of Infotel SmallApps Factory
When we noticed a recurring issue featuring in our client requests, we knew we would we could seize the opportunity to close an obvious gap in the application development market.
Stuck between the time-consuming, rigid process of Traditional IT (and ‘web first’ processes making mobile based development more difficult) and the decentralised, dreaded procedures of Shadow IT (often deployed to cut costs), our Small Apps Factory came to fruition.
This request stemmed from a client who approached us to create a responsive application to facilitate the management of aircraft deliveries. All production steps had to be trackable, and the status of deliveries needed to be captured in real time. The challenge for our experts was to create a single interface which could provide an overview for each aircraft’s production stage and status.
Combining time-saving development with meticulous attention to detail, Small Apps went on to create over 400 apps via our tried, tested and repeatable method. Following several UX workshops, a video was produced to reconstruct the future user journey in the responsive application. It served as a specification document.
We were able to decommission pre-existing Shadow IT applications via this method, too – meaning the Small Apps Factory produced nothing but high-quality, reliable outcomes.
